I've got a "friend" that has an 86 or 87 Mazda 626 that supposedly blew out its Trans. He’s not really sure whether it did or not and he doesn’t really care either, he just wants to get rid of the car. The body is in great shape for a 15+ year old car and the engine sounded fairly strong the last time I heard it run. He wants $200 for it and before I buy it, I want to know what kind of mods there are for this thing. What kind of engine swaps, brakes, trans, etc… cuz I’d like to get it and maybe do some AutoCross Racing with it or maybe just some hell raising against the kids with their hot little cars.

Any info would be great…..
