as long as your not in bratenal (sp?) you should be OK. be careful in Euclid too...some of the cops out there are pricks when it comes to that stuff.

and definitely don't use red and try to stay away from blue. most cops don't like red (say it looks like brake lights or emergency vehicles) or blue (looks like emergency vehicles).

Here in maryland im pretty sure that they are allowed as long as they are not on while you are moving.

No, they are not aloud, they make almost no noise except for the buzzing of the transformer.

Not sure about Ohio, but they are not allowed in Pennsylvania. Most states are not all that divergent on their vehicle code.

Here in Nevada they are illegal. Especially red, blue and flashing lights. A friend of mine has a permit, but he's a construction worker with a big Dogde Ram with flashing hyper white lights. People still do it anyway.

In the state of texas the are allowed under certian circumstances. they are , vehicle must be parked with the emergency brake engaged. cannot be turned on while driving or vehicle will be automatically impounded following charges of emergency vehicle impersonator, and a minimum fine of 200 dollars must also be required to take defensive driving. I know this because i was with my friend when they stopped him and it was hell for him. oh yeah don't even think of turining them on or having them on as they will impound your vehicle for 180 days and revoke your liscence for a 3 month period and following community hours. I tell you man texas is hell!

most cops i asked about it said as long as the neon light doesnt protrude in front of the car (light can be seen from the front, projecting outwards) then its ok.

Here is California its illegal to have them installed but as long as you are on private property the cops can't do anything. No one ever drives with em on and around my place the cops are few since its a rich neighborhood. I have blue and I've heard red what you should stay away from
