egr valve

can anyone please tell me the easiest way of getting this thing off, and outta that hole? lol thanks alot your input will be greatly appreciated oh by the way its a 95 blazer

I just recently cleaned mine on my 95 (vin w vortec)... I just happened to be replacing the thermostat at the same time so it was quite easy to get to... so I may be suggesting that it is 'easy' to get to once you take the thermostat housing off the engine (since it is right next to it to the left (when looking towards back of truck))

I don't recall having any difficulty removing it from it's hole with the thermostat out of th way.
