a/c air filter ??? is there such a thing?

i have a 97 S-10 Blazer and the air pressure coming from the vents is very low. i read that changing the a/c filter might be the culprit. problem is i can't seem to find it. can anyone tell me know if there is such a thing and where i might find it? i've searched the forum and have had no luck

There is an in-line filter on the a/c. Sometimes particles build up and cause a restriction in the system. If that is the case then your a/c will not cool properly. This is a sealed system and any repairs should be done by a shop. Low pressure could be the result of the blower. I would chek to see if the blower is working on all speeds and check to see if you have any restrictions in the vacuum lines on the controls. Hope this helps.

Think you talking about a cab air filter, Fords have them but the Blazers don't. Usually just at the base of the windshield under the hood is a removable panel and the filter lifts out.
