1991 Dash Removal/Wiring Help

I began to remove all factory wiring for the stereo, i plan on replacing all wiring speakers and stereo. I have unbolted and unscrewed pretty much every thing on the dash, still cant remove the dash, either due to some bolts/screws underneath where the guages are, and the break release! I was wondering if anyone had a tutorial for removing the dash, etc. THanks for all of your help. Im a Newbie to this forum.

email me at aicbabybear66@aol.com

Thanks again!

dash removal

I am doing a interior restoration on my 91 sonoma and I had to remove the dash. It is not pleasant. But what is holding your dash in, is tie staps connected to the wiring and air ducts. Just start from the driviers side and find a way to get your cutters behind and cut the tie straps (making sure you dont cut the wires). It is hard to reach the ones behind the climate control area but it can be done.Hope you have small hands it is tight.(I dont). If you have anymore problems with the interior let me know.
