Super Turbo or Flowmaster

I was wandering if the dynomax superturbo mufflers sound anything like a flowmaster, if not what flowmaster series should i get im going to keep it a single exit exhaust if that makes a difference.

Re: Super Turbo or Flowmaster

I have heard that the DynoMax are quieter and to some, sound better. I guess it depends on what sound you want and what size motor you have. If I had a V8, I wouldn't get anything other than a FlowMaster, I love how they sound. But I have a V6 so DynoMax Super Turbo it is! I am getting mine done tomorrow, I'll try to remember to let you know how it sounds.

Re: Super Turbo or Flowmaster

i have a flowmaster 40 street series. its all 2.5" pipe from the muffler back. i've had people tell me it sounds like theres a V8 in it. the best time it sounds good is 1,800-2,000. after that unless your flooring it, its not loud. i had a glasspack on it and the same rpm sound but same people told me it sounded like a ricer. go with the flowmaster.

I went with the DynoMax Super Turbo mufflers and love em! The exact sound I wanted, makes the V6 sound like it's got some balls, but without trying to sound like a V8.
