Lifting a 96 4x4

What are my options with lift kits i only want like a 2-4" lift and perferably a suspention lift. I have heard that i can just put some shackels in the back and crank up my torsion bars in the front, can i do that it sounds to easy? I was also thinking of just getting a body lift but i have a brushguard and wouldnt that stay where it is and the body would get raised up and make it look all goofy? Thanks for your help.

Im also thinking about keeping it stock height and just getting some baja rims that have a different offset to give it a little wider stance instead of lifting it, will my 235/75R/15 all terrains rub if i get a different offset they have pretty decient clearence.
