i have a 93 sentra... xe i believe...lately when i go to start my car its as if its dead...i have to play around with the shifter (my car is automatic by the way) and just push it towards park a bunch of times and then my car will start....i was wondering if this is the beginning of a big problem or if its nothing to worry about. thanks a bunch.

Wish I could help....but mine's a 5 spd and hasn't done anything like that. Most everyone else on this forum has a 2001 or newer.

I've honestly never heard of this kind of problem before especially on an automatic....If it was a manual shift then I'd say meybe it was the childproof relay or something on the lines but an automatic I am unsure of.......you could try posting this question on the www.b15sentra.net or www.sr20deforum.com to see if you can get any other kind of responses there.....
