528e Sunroof Drains

Hi all,

Can anyone provide instructions or a diagram on where the rear sunroof drains are located and how to get access to them to clean them out on a 1988 528e?

Thanks

Well on newer cars once you take the head liner down ther are in both back corners of the sunroof. If you want to get to them you might also have to take down your headliner and look for them.

Re: 528e Sunroof Drains

Well its not that complicated to take out, if you know what your doing and you have the right tools, which you most lilely dont have any torx so its pointless for you to try to take it down. But if you know what your doing and have the tools the drains are in each corner of the interior. They usually are little blakc rubber hoses that have 1/2 inch wide. If you dont know what your doing just go to a dealer and get them to look at it. Dont take it to some no-name shop that might even screw it up more. Unless you know that shop and have been ther ebefore then you can.
