1g radiator in a 2g95GSTRaCeR 07-10-2004, 12:56 PM Does anyone know if a 1g radiator will fit in a 2g? thanks for the help kjewer1 07-11-2004, 03:13 AM Everything I can think of tells me it wont work, but I Cant say I've ever tried :D EclipseRST 07-11-2004, 03:47 AM why do you need a radiator? if you do lets talk cause i got like 6 of em! ;) 95GSTRaCeR 07-11-2004, 07:24 PM well i picked up a 98 gsx from chicago this weekend. The guy that owned it spun out on ice, hit a curb and cracked some suspension parts and the front bumper and the fenders were slightly damaged. It has a front mount intercooler, full 3 inch exhaust w/ a test pipe, upper intercooler pipe with a 1g bov, greddy profec-b, apex s-afc, greddy turbo timer, boost guage, a/f guage, and exhaust temp guage. It has 104,000 miles and it does need some work but i got it for $3100, I thought it was a good deal so i drove to chicago (I live in bemidji minnesota) and since suspension parts were cracked the tires wouldn't roll, so you can imagine how hard it was to get it on a trailer. Well we had a jack on the front end and pulling it backward on the trailer, the jack slipped and crushed the bottom of the radiator....none of the salvage yards around here have any 2g's they only have 1g's so I was wondering if a 1g radiator would fit in a 2g. But if you got one Jake let me know how much because I definately need one soon, and if you know where i can get a cheap drivers side fender in good shape I need one of those to. Thanks for the help. rodknock 07-11-2004, 07:42 PM you could try radiators.com i piced up a new one for my old 1st gen for like 150 bucks with overnight. just a suggestion EclipseRST 07-12-2004, 06:21 AM good buy... what color is the car? i might have a fender too that will match... if not i definately have one of a different color ;) PM me an offer on both and the color of your car and i'll get back to ya within a day!
