ok i'm lost... i have looked for the last 2hrs for the answer and i cant find it! i need to know if the stock non turbo DOHC 2.0L 6 bolt head (90-92) is the same as the turbo DOHC 2.0L 6 bolt head (90-92)! like are all the parts (cams, valves, springs, intake and exhaust ports) the same? cars acting up again and i am running a compression test tomorrow (i'm worried - thats 2 motors in 1 month) :banghead: hopefully everything goes smoothly! this car has been a pain in my ass!!! i dont know what the fuck i am doing wrong compaired to my other car! :uhoh: oh well... thanks for the help guys

i know that the cams are different, because people put turbo cams in 1g nt to make them faster

also i'm not 100% sure but i thing that the cambushion chamber, or simply the cylinder space on the turbo engines is smaller( remember compresion ratio for turbo is 8.5 -9 and non turbo is like what 13- 14 psi)...

for future reference i will post what i found...

well after searching some more for the last 1-1/2hrs i found out that the heads are exactly the same except the camshafts!

the compression ratio on a turbo 1g motor is 7.8:1 and the 2g turbo motor is 8.5:1...(thats why people tend to upgrade their 1g's by using 2g pistons - to add power by raising the compression ratio)

and the n/a 1g motor is 9.0:1

Sounds like you found what you need, but just to verify for future searchers (people search? lol), this is in fact correct. The 2.0 NT 1g and 2.0 turbo 1g heads are the same, aside from the cams. 90s got different cams, as did autos.
