My 91 Ford Escort Lx just died on me, now when I try to start it, It sounds like is gonna go, but doesn't. There is a "gas cut-out" light that comes on when I try to start it. Any help with this will be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, it sounds like your fuel cut-off is engaged. If you have a 91, I believe the cutoff is in the trunk, on the drivers side, behind a panel. I it is not there, try right next to your left leg as your sitting in the drivers seat. It should look like a little black box with a red button. Make sure the red button is pushed down. If the light comes on, it usually means your button has been popped up and shutoff your fuel pump. Let me know what you find out!
