Anyone know if it is possible to remove the oil pan and replace the oil pump without pulling the motor on a 1997 Dodge Ram 4x4 pick up.
Also is the rear main seal in two parts and can it be replace without removing the crank.
Is the seal the old wick type?

I changed the pump and rear main seal (1 piece) via the oil pan.
