just bought a 4-runner V-6,4wd,auto trans.,it won't start! the guy cut the wires on the led switch for the alarm. so Ihave to get a new switch I guess, but he said the starter or ignition is messed up . he said when he turned the key to start all it would do is click like the starter did not engage. so my ? is where is the starter on top of the tranfer case :confused: I have never worked on a Toyota . why he cut the wires on the LED switch , I have not a clue, and can I bypass the alarm system? got it at a good price and would love to get it rolling , It has all the bells and whistles.. Thanks in advance

Buy a Chiltons or Haynes manual for this vehicle.
