This Sh!t works wonders on anything including the engine bay! The stuff I currently use: http://www.simplegreen.com/images/consumer/household/01photo.gif I was going to ask if there is anything better..... DO NOT use wheel cleaners. I can't remember why they are bad, but I know that I read in another car forum that they can ruin the finish on your wheels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If worst comes to worst, just use the soap and water you use to wash your car as someone stated above. Um... LX98Civic 01-28-2002, 04:05 PM Originally posted by nemesls_2000 So, are you saying you'd use the regular Simple Green, but you wouldn't use the Simple Green Wheel Cleaner?!?!? Um... I had NO idea there was a wheel cleaner until I found that pic on their web site earlier. The multi-purpose $h!t is good for the wheels too. I've used it on full strength because I didn't have an extra bottle to dilute it. But, it states to use full strength on wheels and the engine bay. I'm going to look into that foam stuff. k91 01-29-2002, 10:27 AM I wouldn't recommend using full strength simple green on your wheels, I've heard too many stories of it eating the clear coat off. Yeah, I've been looking for a empty spray bottle so I can dilute the Simple Green. I'm going to check into it at work again. Last time I looked Wal-Mart only had smaller bottles. Predator 01-29-2002, 03:35 PM nearly everythign u can wash ur car with- u should first wash em with some water to clean them from the brake dust and use some kind of polish thingie- ill take a look which one ive here! Civic_Addict 01-29-2002, 04:30 PM Meguiars Hot Rims. Spray it on. Wait a couple minutes and spray off. Its great for brake dust. Predator 01-29-2002, 04:37 PM Without water?? Does it work? If I would do that my rim would look blakc- totally black! Civic_Addict 01-30-2002, 06:41 AM Originally posted by Predator Without water?? Does it work? If I would do that my rim would look blakc- totally black! With water. And it works very well. CivSiGuy 01-30-2002, 09:30 AM Nothing like a pressure washer for those times on the run! :) Otherwise I use any wheel cleaner I can get my hands on.
