Whats the difference between the GS and LS engines?2of9 07-01-2004, 06:20 PM Hey, BIG Honda/Acura Newbie here. ANyways, my uncle has a 98 Teg GS. Its Torquey for FF. But whats the difference about the GS and LS engines? arent they the same? B18B engines do have torque, but still, arent the LS and GS engines the same? 2ndb18 07-01-2004, 07:26 PM there is absolutely no difference between the LS, GS, or RS engines there all b18s the b18 is usually called the LS engine but there all the same eckoman_pdx 07-04-2004, 06:22 PM The LS and GS have the exact same motor, the B18B1. The difference in the 2 trim lines lays in other options/things. The exact specfics of those I am not sure of, but the engine is the same in both, a B18B1. pikkagtr 07-06-2004, 04:26 AM they're all the same in GS/LS/RS form Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
