Re: Where is it

Ever thought about the Joe Gibbs silverado? Quite a competitor from what I've read and heard. Research your comments before you make them, then you won't look QUITE so dumb.

Talking

I read somewhere that Ford is offering a new incentive with every F-150...A gift card good at the tow truck of your choice

Re: Where is it

Hahahah........better do some more research pal.....Ford will no longer be making the Lightening as of next model year. They are putting all their SVT operations into the GT-40

Re: Where is it

If you read the Washingtion Times car section, Bob S. states that he gets more compliants with Ford products than all the others combined. Go figure?

Re: Where is it

Well, I can understand die hard chevy personality. I have owned both types, Ford and Chevy. My first truck was a 77 Stepside F-150 with the 351M. Now I have a 91 Chevy silver. w/4.3 164+K. Both are good trucks and have takena beating (trucks used for what trucks are made to be used for) So, I look at it this way, they both have their flaws, and strong points. i miss my 71 F-150, 400M .060 bore. But the CHevy is working just fine, with better milage.

If you want to improve your mileage even more, try adding Mr Moly to your oil. I use Mobil 1 but still add Mr Moly for about a 10+% increase in gas mileage. In Europe, you can buy the oil with molybdenum disulfide already added. I also put it in the transmission and rearend.

I was getting 18+ on the highway as rated on the sticker and started using Mr Moly several years later and the mileage jumped to 21 MPG. This included other mods of K&N airfilter and MSD ignition which added several percent. Their site is http://www.mrmoly.com. They are a Canadian firm but have a warehouse in Rochester,NY.
