Question Vacuum MADNESS!!!

Ok i just recently installed a 1984 chevy 305 into my truck and i would like to know what parts of the vacuum system are ok to disconnect without effecting my engines performance.... EG the Exhaust heat riser valve and the canister as well as the vacuum pods on the intake manifold.

??????

I would like to run with the most efficient setup as possible keeping in mind that I am not sure how many of these components even work anymore! Exept the exhaust heat riser I know works.

A list of the bare minimum vacuum components needed would be great. I don't use this vehicle in the winter either.
