Question Interior Painting

Ive been ripping my interior apart and painting parts of it blue, i have all the parts that i want to paint taken out but i cant figure out how to get the black plastic part that goes by the speedometer its a 2002 grand am and i was wondering if there is bolts behind it so i have to take off the whole dash or if im just not pulling hard enough to get the piece off, ive pulled pretty hard im just scared to break anything, if anyone know how to get this part off please let me know.

Re: Interior Painting

is it the shroud around the speedo? if it is it removes by 4 screws(torxs) first remove the steering wheel column cover theres 2 screws on each side lower cant misem takem off , then inside the round shroud above the speedo and tach is the other 2. There you go.
