I have a 96 saturn sl. For the past week and a half I have had difficulty getting the car in to second gear. Sometimes I could double clutch it in. Sometimes it would go in just fine. But most of the time it either wouldn't go in at all or it grinds its way in.

Well this morning I put it into reverse, backed it out of the driveway went to put it into first and...nothing. I have no pressure when pressing on the clutch pedal. I have no gears when moving the stick around.

Anyone have any ideas? Is it the master-slave cylinder, or did i just lose it all (clutch, transmission, etc.)

check trans fiuld (red dipstick), clutch fiuld (behind and underneth the brake cylinder, clean the cap first,most likey), and the shift cables
