sorry about the caps lock but anyways i have been in a Tundra and yes the engine and quality is different but i just meant the styling and still the F-150 has a better engine and better Quality
That's nice that you think that. Now I bet you don't have any proof to backup your comments on either engine performance or vehicle quality. If you do, I'd love to hear it.

DOH!
I'd like to see any unbiased, methodologically-sound empirical data supporting your position as well.

I like how you play both sides of the fence. Why would you care given that you already have a Tundra? I happen to have data supporting my position on engine performance and quality. However, I wasn't the one stating in a Tundra forum that a Ford has better engine performance and quality. The burden of proof clearly falls upon the instigator of the argument. Based on this and previous posts, you don't seem to be getting the debate/argument/discussion thing. What school did you go to anyway?
Actually dogspaws, my response was meant to support yours, and the data request was directed at the Ford troll.
What makes you think I went to college?
Yes, I play both sides of the fence. I support you in some posts, but don't in others. I've supported your position in this thread, but not in the others.

My apologies. I misinterpreted your thread. Given the recent slew of attacks against me that post appeared to be directed toward me as well. I'll try to be more careful next time.
well, this is my data, I own a ford mustang and i got 103k miles, my aunt has a ford f-150 with about 60 or so k miles, my uncle has a 97 land ctuiser with 60k and my other uncle has a toyota van with 325k, and a truck with 215k, both of his toyotas are perfect, only replacd the tranny in the van and nothing in the truck my uncles LC is perfect but it is rather new, mine is a P.O.S. and my aunts has its share of problems. NO WAY is ford better quality than a toyota. ISnt the tundra even cheaper than the POS f-150?

Cost is a good point. I always hear people say that Tundras cost more. I just completed an analysis on the Ford and Toyota websites to compare comparably equiped vehicles (as of 1/28/02):
Ford F150 XLT Super Cab 4x4 4.6L V8 = $30,655 MSRP
Take a look at the side of the F150 cab. You'll not find a line that stays vertical. The cab door opening and the back of the cab body lines sweep forward near the bottom of the truck. Wierd looking. Vertical lines should stay vertical, not sweep horizontal.
You can't beat Tundras. Best truck out there, without question. I've never been happier with a vehicle than I am with my Tundra limited access cab 4x4. Later........
Hi, I'm not trying to step on any toes or anything but comparing a Toyota to a Ford is crazy. Toyota has one thing Ford, Chevy, and Dodge will never have, resale value! Not to mention all of you who own one has noticed, it rides like a Lexis with a bed in back.
Since I can't drive my Supra everyday I'm forced to drive my 2002 TRD Tundra SR5 Access Cab. Not a bad deal really. To the Ford men out there. Nice trucks true, but it'll never last as long as the Toyota, there is a reason for the high re-sale value. My friend bought his new F-150 the same time nearly that I got my truck. Since then both of our trucks have been absolutly abused which I am ashamed to admit. He has had nothing but problems with his truck. Everything from engine computers going out to his driver side door not working. I have yet to do anything put keep new oil in mine. Besides that he paid 36,000 for his and I paid 26,500 for mine...both were brand new.
