first, call your insurance company and get a quote.
also, how old are you? do you get student/multi-car/etc discounts?
i'm 26, mostly clean record (one accident, not my fault, 3 years ago - NOT in my '2), $500/6 months, 93Turbo

Driving historys PERFECT except for my first car being stolen, I have had a NA MR2 after that and now this one, no tickets or ANY other claims.
It's exspensive because Im a high risk i.e Male under 25, and Turbo car.
It sucks!!

With my NA, $135 a month for a 16 year old male. I have full coverage on everthing, too. low deductables. Its only $30/month more than a '92 maxima.

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I pay $1600 AUD a year for my 94 MR2 GT-S Turbo. All my friends think that it's really cheap too, but after listening to how some of you are paying, I'm not so sure anymore. I'm not even a nominated driver, it's all under my Dad's name.
I tried getting a quote for the car in to be in my name, or for me to be a nominated driver, but all the insurance companies said that they wouldn't insure me. They wouldn't even listen to me if I mentioned the letters WRX.
BLOODY TIGHT ASS AUSSIE INSURANCE COMPANIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SCREW EM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
