Power/reverse?

Please understand this is not my normal driving style but I have noticed this twice.
If you are in reverse and floor the car, it almost shuts down. It will keep running but almost no power, If you then immediatly shift into drive and floor it, it just falls on its face. No backfire or anything, but just bareley runs at all. This is the only time it does it.....

Re: Power/reverse?

Could this be something to do with the placement of the fuel pump? Maybe you're sloshing all the gas away from the intake and getting a bubble in the fuel line. Sort of like Ford model Ts having to back up hills so the gas would still gravity feed into the engine
