It's fairly easy. You should have the exact same dash setup as my '95 Regal GS Coupe. Literally, just gently pull the front piece off of the dash it is only held in by metal clips. It is one complete piece that goes from the headlight switch on the left all the way over to the radio and HVAC controls and don't forget to disconnect the cigarette lighter wire on the back of it. Remove the two 7mm hex screws later and the radio is out. Make sure the Theftloc is not set on the radio before you do this or you'll have to pay $30 at the dealership to get it reset. Also, if your Regal is not a Gran Sport then your shifter will be on the steering column and might get in the way. If this happens just set your parking brake and drop the shifter into the lowest gear.

I am glad to hear it is easy. Thank you. One other question, since I am disposing of the radio, do I need to worry about the theftloc? My shifter is between the seats, so I guess it is a gran sport. Didn't know that. Thanks again.

No, you don't need to worry about it. The Theftlock is within the radio, not part of the car. I always thought the console shifter was only available on the Gran Sport Regals - I could be wrong though. If the bottom half of your car's exterior is grey then you definitely have a Gran Sport. It is also stamped on the glove box door by the Regal emblem if it is a Gran Sport.
