So, the other day I saw an intrepid, but on the hood, and all over it had Chrysler emblems and badging. The interior even had chrysler (like, on the steering wheel).
Now, I know that Dodge/Chryler/Plymouth are basically the same (like, neons, stratus...) but, they don't make a Chrysler Intrepid...do they?

I'm not exactly sure. But with Plymouth out of the picture, it would seem that Dodge and Chrysler would merge to one. It would only seem logical since the market is getting a little fierce as of late with some of the models coming out now.

Dodge is the Truck and High performance part of Chrysler. I think they want to keep dodge because it's well known in history for High performance cars.

I think the Germans don't value the history of Chrysler or any division. There are only two major American manuafctures anymore. Thankfully they are the #1 and #2 manufactures in the world. Sorry to see Chrysler go to the Germans, but Americans have been buying up everyone elses car makers. Kind of strange to think Chrysler owned Lambo, then sold it, then got bought by another company that bought Lambo. I believe that in another ten years there will be just 5 major manufactures of automobiles.

I believe there will be atleast 10-15 major manufacturers in the next 10-20 years. Among those surviving will be (in my opinion):
General Motors
Ford
Toyota
DaimlerChrysler
Renault-Nissan-Samsung-Dacia
Hyundai-Kia
Volkswagen
BMW
PSA/Peugeot-Citroen (if Toyota doesn't decide to absorb it)
Honda
Possibly:
AvtoVaz
As for the "Chrysler Intrepid", the "merger" had nothing to do with it. Dodge products have been sold in Canada as Chryslers for years. Before the Chrysler Intrepid, there was the Chrysler Dynasty.

Chrysler has the Concorde. But Chrysler dealers in Canada sold the Dodge Intrepid as the "Chrysler Intrepid"...and they have since 1993 (I'm repeating myself, but the question seems to have been repeated). Chrysler also sold the Dodge Dynasty in Canada under the Chrysler badge, even though Chrysler dealers in the US had the similar Chrysler New Yorker Salon.

I have also heard that in Europe Dodge is not used and Chrysler is used like in Canada. Interesting.

There was some legal problem in Europe with the name Dodge. According to the story I read, Renault had licensed the name Dodge to produce trucks years ago and still retained the European rights to the name. DaimlerChrysler is now thinking of selling Dodges in Europe.
They have been selling the Chrysler Neon, Chrysler Stratus, Chrysler Vision (Eagle Vision), and Chrysler Voyager for years. The Chrysler Viper has been imported in small numbers as well.

Over here in canada there is a chrysler interepid, and in canada the neon is called the SX 2.0 (which is the only dodge car in canada), there is no dodge intrepid, stratus, or SRT-4

yeah i live in canada and own a 95 CHRYSLER intrepid (there is no option for it on here when ur chosing your vehicle model for chrysler!!) it is the luxury version of the dodge intrepid all of them come power eveything and the only real choice is engine size i have the 3.3L the others are 3.5 and 3.5 24-valve. very comfortable, smooth driving car.
