1969 z28 help

hey i recently came into possession of a 1969 z28 super sport camaro and i was wondering a couple of things that maybe you guys could help me. i was wondering was is the widest rear tire i can fit without having to tub it. and also what are the real horsepower/torque numbers for a stock 302? thanks for any info.

I've read that the stock 302's from that time were around 260 HP at the crank and can rev to around 7000 rpm. Not a bad motor.

your wrong about 260hp, its more like 390hp. people say that its a rumor, but 390hp is true.

My bad. I was mistaken with chevy's "rating", or under rating for that matter.
