Thumbs up Class action lawsuite re: front end spoiler

A class action lawsuit has been certified claiming that the front-end spoilers on 1999 to 2002 Jettas have a faulty design that causes them to catch on parking lot curb stops, which can yank the spoiler off the bumper. Curb stops range in height from five to six inches, while the clearance on the spoilers is only four to six inches. Volkswagen initially paid for the damaged spoilers, but when numbers skyrocketed, they claimed it wasn’t covered under warranty. Surprised?
