want to replace all fours, already replaced head unit. getting impatient on ordering more from crutchfield. i want new speakers now with that, i doubt i will get a harness from a local store. if i splice the wires to solder them into place, what color wire is what?

i see that one is blue with white stripe.
and another is blue with orange stripe.

all the speaker terminal said was A AND B. not + OR -.

well i went to circut city on a whim. i ended up buying some infinity 6002i for 99.00 a pair, well they had some special deal, buy one set, get the other for 1/2 price. needless to say i got the other set as well. now for the good part, they had a non-splicing harness for 6.99 for a pair. now for the best part. man what a difference, those stock speakers were so blown. easy install, except those pesky wire harness's for the front doors, i never did like those things........if anyone needs any advise i'll be happy to answer all i can. tim

I'm getting ready to do the exact same thing. Two of the four speakers are shot, so I'm going to replace all of them. Looking at a set of Kenwoods from Best Buy for 69.

My stereo has also been acting up, gets horrible radio reception - not sure what's wrong.

How did you remove the head unit?
