Unhappy Nissan Quest' 04 Engine Buildup RPM

Hi Guy,

I just brought 04 Quest SE. I have to bring it back to the dealer just like some of you. The following are the reason:
- Navigation sys error
- Back Center console loose
- Slide door not working when open or close with remote.
- Noise when running at around 2000 rpm, mostly when engine is cool down.

The one that is concern me the most is the last one. The technician at the dealer said it's because the engine was building up RPM. They even said it's normal. I would understand if I have a stick and accidentially drop 4th gear when I supposts to use 2nd gear, but this is an automatic. Shouldn't automatic shift? I was wondering if anyone experiencing this problem, and why?

Thanks,
