The TR range of cars are different to the others-Spitfire,GT6. The TR up to TR6 are a collectable English car. The TR6 had a 2.5 6cylinder with fuel injection about 150hp I think, 4speed stick with overdrive. The TR's are only two seater and are convertible, I don't know about the TR7 and TR8 not that popular compared to the TR6 and the earlier ones.

Started with the TR2 with a 2l 4 cylinder engine, this evolved into the TR3, and was replaced by the TR4 which evolved into the TR5 some of which had an early 2.5L six, this evolved into the TR6 with the 150hp Six in RHD, and a 105hp six for the US in LHD.
It was replaced by the TR7 which was a coupe or convertable, and returned to using a 4cly engine. Towards the end of its life the Buick Based Rover V8 was dropped in and it became the TR8.

Have you ever SAT in that space behind the front seats? I'd find it tough to imagine anyone older than a newborn (or with longer legs than, say, ET) sitting back there.
Also, the TR5 was sold in the US as the TR250. The TR5 featured port fuel injection which could not pass US emissions. The TR250 was nearly identical to the six-cylinder TR5 but had carburetors.
TR8s are becoming collectible, and I'm sure TR7s have their followings.
Just to clear things up, the TR-6 was produced between the years of 1969-75. The British Isles version of the petrol injected TR-6 produced well over 150 bhp. In 1972, the engine was depowered to 125 bhp, and as for the carbuerrated version overseas, the engine was again depowered to 105 bhp. As for the "rear seat" on the TR3 and possibly TR2, there is absoultely no room for a rear seat. If so, then it must be used as a parcel shelf.

I inherited it from my father and he had it fitted with Weber triple side-draft carbs years ago (which makes a dramatic increase in power). Last week, i had a new free flow exhaust installed and finally, high-performance headers. Its one verrrry agressive car. Im finally having the original front brake rotors replaced (they're very rusted and pitted) this week, and I'm ordering new Pirelli tyres this week as well.
