Hello,

I've been driving my parents 98 camry le for a little while now. Today, for just a short period of time, I drove a large number of people in the camry (8..). Now, once I get home, I notice there is some fluid leaking from the bottom of the camry, coming from the upper end of the car. I have no idea what happened, I think it has to do with shocks?

I noticed the camry already had very weak shocks before this, as I could bounce like crazy in this vehicle. While I was driving the people this short distance, I pulled into a driveway to turn around, and it scraped the bottom of the car, I don't knwo if that would have anything to do with the leaking fluid.

I just want to see if anyone can tell me exactly what's gone wrong here. Also, can you tell me if it's still safe to drive?

Can't tell you if it is safe to drive as that fluid could be anything from engine or tranny oil from bottoming out to plain water from A/C condensation.You have to look under the car and look for damage,check the fluid levels,and try to determine what is leaking.

What color is the fluid? And, how much is leaking? What does the fluid feel like on your fingers? Front, center or back of car? Left side, right side?

Like already mentioned, it could be just water from the condensate off the air conditioner. Or it could be more serious. Depends on what you find.

I think it's just the A/C. After all, I was blasting it today for a while. 90 degree weather with humidity whcih felt like 100%. Thanks.
