5 lug to 4 lug conversion?buh_buh 01-23-2002, 11:52 PM I've heard there is a kit that lets you do some sort of thing. If it exists, how much are they? And where can I find one? Please let me know. Thanks. texan 01-24-2002, 02:28 AM that would be a 4 lug to 5 lug conversion (no sense in downgrading), what do you want to do it for? buh_buh 01-24-2002, 04:11 AM how is that downgrading? I just thought they were 4 lugs and 5 lugs. A buddy of mine just wants to buy my rims off me, and my car is 4 lug and his car is 5 lug. texan 01-24-2002, 11:55 AM If his car is a 5 lug, it's probably becaue it's a bigger and heavier car. Your bolt pattern is probably a 4 x 100mm, while his is a 5 x 114.3mm, which will handle a good deal more load before failing. Put simply, you definitely wouldn't want to downgrade from 5 lugs to 4 just because someone has rims you'd like to buy. buh_buh 01-24-2002, 12:45 PM I'm not the one who wants to buy the rims, my friend wants to buy the rims off me. And he's the one that's insisting that he wants them even though they won't fit. I don't think his car's any heavier. He has a Neon and I had a Prelude. But I don't know, whatever turns his crank. toolowintegra 01-24-2002, 10:24 PM man, what a retard, who downgrades???????? buh_buh 01-24-2002, 11:54 PM I don't know. I think its just because he wanted my rims and I was giving him a sweet deal for it. slammedcivicsi 01-25-2002, 03:54 AM get his hubs re drilled I had it done to my Mazda truck. Everyone does it. I had it drilled from a 6 lug to a 4 lug. Its cheep too just make sure that you get a reputable shop to do it xcause anyone could do it really shitty. If you get a adapter kit the wheelas wont have the right offset and they will stick out from the car like 4 inches and thats gay. But thats my opinion any questions slammedcivicsi@hotmail.com Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
