Did you guys know that?
And I think they also did a great job at it. GS (Known as Aristo in Japan) is very powerful looking and is a very high-performance sedan, especiall with 300hp it has.

I own a GS400 V8 here in the States ,,, this car is also only for US and Canada Sales.... more info to give the GS300 uses the Toyota Supra inline 6 cylinder engine and the Aristo is the exact same engine and the Toyota Supra Turbo engine,,,,, I love this car very nice powerful and well built. its hard to get modification done to the GS400 because of small space to work in and I would like to add any after market parts are $$$ the Aristo in the other hand can be modified to fit your personal needs good luck guys

Anybody ever hear of someone swaping in the TT, including the fancy bits from the Supra? I'd love to see pics. Same question goes for the SC300.

C'mon, kb, give him the whole answer!
CRESSIDA, "you can only upload 1 file at a time" as he said, but you can post as many pictures as you like if you already have them online, on your own webspace. Use [*img][/*img] tags (without the stars ) around the URL of a picture.
If you don't have a server to upload them to other than here, then he's right... "You can only upload 1 file at a time."

While the first Aristos (JZS141/147) were designed by Ital Design's Giugiaro the current body style GS (JZS160/161) was designed inhouse by Akihiro Nagaya.
If you guys are more interested in Lexus cars, I suggest try a Lexus specific site like www.clublexus.com. MUCH more information that what's here...
As for dropping in a Turbo motor, it's been done by a few people. Pretty complicated unless you have the entire front clip. I've seen some right hand drive conversions done too (to American GS's)
There are also a few supercharger applications available for the GS300 and 400, and soon, the 430.
The GS is a great car, I just hate it when some people, who can bearly afford the car anyways, try to "fix it up" and put one some sh*tty cheap wheels and basically make their GS's look like some ghetto Civic or Integra (as opposed to WELL DONE Civics and Integras). You know, the Pop-Boys special car "treatment"...sometimes, it should be just left alone!
Check the picture below...done right.
