Water in floorboard.. where is a/c orif. tube?dmosley7 06-14-2004, 10:34 PM Need to find out what could be causing water inside the passenger floorboards of my 96 Corolla. No damage to the underside of the car, so I'm thinking it has to be something involving the a.c. system. If anyone knows anything about this please get back to me asap! Thank you! Underworldspider 06-15-2004, 06:13 PM Usally water inside indicates a bad heater core. Your draining hose for water vapor for corollas are usally up by the radiator. Good luck tracking problem dmosley7 06-15-2004, 10:14 PM thanks for the info... appreciate it! gator2764 06-17-2004, 08:53 AM thanks for the info... appreciate it! The drain for the evap might be on the passenger side where someone might have kicked it with their feet. That has happened on my 92 tercel before. If the water is clear it is your evep drain, if it smells like antifreeze....must be heater core. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
