Ok we have a 93 GCL We are having a problem now unlike the others we were having.... HUBBY wants to get rid of it but i LOVE this jeep....SO please help me........

The Jeep is not running so good, start it up (which is kinda hard with this problem) the car shakes, unlike i have ever felt. Put the car in reverse, seems fine, hit the gas while in drive and it just doesnt want to move.....spits sputters backfires(sounds like backfires) we have recently (2 weeks ago) changed the TPS, the cap rotor, plugs wires the other part in the distributor(having a blonde moment right now) some kind of sensor LOL .... anyway, can some one PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! thank you in advance and ASAP?

sound like the crankshaft position sensor
(love those sensor outages, huh?)

well i hope that is what it is, otherwise he is going to make me sell it and get an old MOPAR.. i really dont want that LOL.... so i have been looking around for prices and i have found them from 80.00 to 46.00 is that about average? or is it cheaper or more expensive than it should be?

$80 is the dealer price, I think (sounds about right)... if that's the ticket, good for you (i've heard horror stories of dealer-charged $500 for this typ of problem when it was most likely just the CPS...)
