Any Ford techs out there? Please help.

I have been seeing a lot of 91-95 Escorts with around 100,000 miles and bad automatic transmissions. What part(s) are you guys/girls seeing that go out on the transmission??

ok man, i just put the third tranny in my wagon a week ago. ( lets cross our fingers, cause the next blow up = wrecking the wagon) but i have bad news, this may be from the tranny shop sucking, but it was a new prob every time. first the axle broke, i.e. broke in half. second was a blown seal to the engine ( puked fluid all over the drive way just trying to go in reverse) the third was when i blew off my tranny fluid pump and puked fluid all over i-71s and had to nurse it 20 miles to my house putting new fluid in it every 4 to 8 miles ( fun ) any way, i doubt this helped, but ive been dieing to talk shit about my tranny.....the third and latest has been running fine, ( and beat a turbo lazer in rush hour yesterday) knock on wood for me -bam boombalastic
