stupid gluecharlieteg 06-13-2004, 03:59 PM I had just shaved my emblems and the glue is damn hard to get off, any ideas, have tried goo gone, and a few other things i have picked up and nothing seesm to work...any one have an idea it would be great 96Civic_Coupe 06-13-2004, 04:33 PM what did u take u emblems off with? B1SiR6A 06-13-2004, 05:24 PM prolly just pulled em off...try some gas or carb cleaner they work on everything... charlieteg 06-13-2004, 05:26 PM they wree actually just pulled off easily but the glue is the hard part. charlieteg 06-13-2004, 05:41 PM shit i tired gas and this is some serious fuckin glue...i dont know ~btw b1sir6a your ride is thing, keep up the good work man 96Civic_Coupe 06-13-2004, 06:57 PM should've used floss or something to take em off. maybe if i keep rubbing it really hard w/ goo gone and the green side of a sponge it'll come off........ greenmonkey 06-13-2004, 06:57 PM ive tried goo gone and denatured alcohol. i havent had much sucess getting all the glue off but it took off some. emerge 06-13-2004, 07:38 PM hair dryer. glues is easier to work with when its hot. lkailburn 06-13-2004, 08:15 PM don't use gas or rubbing alcohol!! god damn.. that shit is way too harsh on your paint.. you need to use the goo gone.. but your prolly not doing it right. you need to keep applying the goo gone and give it time to soak in as much as possible. i'm talking like fully saturated for 2-3 minutes. trust me i shaved my own off, plus have had many other "sticky" run ins that goo gone has cured. all you need to do is apply,wait a minute, apply,waita while, apply again and wipe off, soak some on the rag wipe again. if necessary, repeat.
