96 Chevy Express Van will not start

96 Express Van 1500 5.7L - I can crank all day and it will not start - I pour gas down the throttle body and it starts and then runs fine. I have 50 psi for fuel pressure (also has new fuel filter and it holds this pressure for hours). I also have good spark. Fuel pump runs when key is positioned to ON for 2-5 seconds to pressurize system - do not believe it is a fuel pump relay. Why will it not start???

Replaced fuel pump - the central sequential fuel injection requires over 60psi. Fuel pressure is now 62psi at engine start and at 56 with engine running.
