Air Intake?

Hello, I am the Owner of a 1990 Honda Accord. I was thinking about getting a "RAM AIR" type air intake. I know that the whole purpose of a new air intake is to get more power because more air is now able to enter the engine, but does that mean that I need a new muffler system to suit the increased amount of air comming out of the engine? Wouldnt it be an imbalance? Also, would it make my car sound a whole lot louder, or just a little bit?

Thank you for any insight!

You don't need a new exhaust system just because you got a new air intake. The only reason you would need a exhaust system really is if you added some sort of forced induction and change your stock manifold for a header, that way you get better exhaust flow.
