Don't pay the 75 bucks...that's bull. What keyless entry entry code do you need? The keypad on the door or the code to program a key fob, or the kode to have a key cut?

*NOTE if you need the key cut, pay the 75 bucks, no-one else can produce them.

Post an answer and i'll get back to you.

Open driver's side door.

Get on one knee, or if you are a midget, climb in
Look under the the dashboard, directly under the steering wheel. See that black box with a white sticker containing 5 numbers on it?

I just saved you 75 Bux. YOu're welcome.

Maybe you should re-consider having that dealer do ANY work on your truck. They wanted 75 bux to do what you did in.. what? 15 seconds?

Rip-offs....

I've thought about that. I won't be going there anytime soon.

save money

if you have any of the fords that have a universal key like the super duty trucks then i could take my key and program it to start your truck All i would need is your truck and key, and my key.

Oook. did you EVEN read the post there, rural?

He didn't need a KEY.

And programming an additional key is not that hard on the new transponder key equipped FORDs.

dealerships may charge money for stupid things, but keep in mind if you want to keep your warranty intact, they're the folks to go see. If one dealer treats you like crap, go to another.

Ford doesn't call it a required maintenance schedule for no good reason!

NO you don't have to go to the dealer for keys, most locksmith have the equipment to program transponder keys. I do them much cheaper than my dealer.
