Measuring suspension

Is it me and my measurements or is the back an 1" higher in the back(Measuring top of wheel well to the top of the side wall). I am looking to either even the back out to front being that it looks higher even on perfectly even checked with laser lever leverl ground or lower the front a little then lower the back to even it out.
