Question engine size in my 69?

I recently got a 69 camaro with very little history. the car has cloned to be a z-28. i dont know what size motor it has other than being an 8 cylinder. 307,327,305,350? any quick and easy way to tell? im not a mechanic but i do know my way around somewhat.

check either the VIN or the number on the block...I'm not sure exactly what they translate to on a 69 Camaro, but you should be able to find out from VIN# catalogs or online

hope that helps

since yours in a clone there is no real way to tell. The 69 z28 came with the DZ code 302. The vin on the block means nothing if the engine has been rebuilt because it could be bored and stroked with out you knowing it.

Part of the deck from the block protrudes from under the front of the passenger-side cylinder head, the original VIN of the engine is there. Get it and I can decode it for you.
