Lightbulb Foglight Modification For '04 Chevy Colorado

I’d like to modify my fog lights on my Colorado so that they stay on when I turn on my high beams. If anyone has done this yet, or has a wiring diagram, I’d very much appreciate the help. Thanks

Re: Foglight Modification

My best suggestion would be to use a power source that is continously on while the ignition is in the on position. Tap into it and hook it up to the fog lamp switch. Don't forget to install a suitable size fuse as well and be sure that the power source is capable of supporting the draw of power from the fog lamps too. A source you may try too look for is an unused slot in your fuse panel that has power when the vehicle is turned on. Be sure it is not a direct source right to the battery or you could kill your battery if you accedentally leave the lights on. I know most older vehicles had accessory slots in the fuse panels so this is worth looking for before you go cutting into any other wires.

Sorry i can't draw you a picture because i have no idea what the wiring is like in the new colorado. This is simply what i would look at as an option to solving this problem.
