Question How much was your WRX out the door?

Hey, I'm thinking of buying a WRX... but i'm not sure how much the final price will be, or what the downpayment would be like...

Can you guys post your final price, along with what options ya got?

Many thanks...

well it comes with a lot standard so you won't need much in the range of options, but you're looking roughly around 23000-24000 out the door. Here's a tip on car buying, go to the dealership for a test drive, then if you really decide that you want that car, leave. Then call the dealership and talk to the fleet sales person, they are much easier to deal with than ordinary floor salesman. You offer them a price, maybe 300 dollars over invoice and see what you guys can work out. You won't need to bid that high. Reasons for calling a fleet salesman instead of haggling with the floor salesman is that the fleet salesman sells these things, any car, by bulk or whatnot. They don't have time to haggle with you, just offer and bid and sold. Plus they don't factor in commission and all that bullshit. And don't feel sorry for the dealership, they get a manufacturer's bonus on how many cars they sell, so when they say something like, I'm not making any money on this car or whatever, well no shit. But they get a check at the end of the year by the manufacturer. Salespeople=only good for test drives.

I got my Subaru WRX out the door for $30k. I actually got the car at-invoice at mid-$23k but racked up alot of extras and showroom aftermarket options so I paid alot higher.
$30k at my dealership got me:
the car
moonroof
leather
STi pedals (which i've waited 3 months for so far and still haven't seen )
Speaker upgrade, Amp+Sub
Lojack
OEM spoiler
Boost gauge
installation of all of the above

An extra $4k or so gets you the OEM WRC body kit and BBS 17" wheels.
This price isn't typical of WRX's in general and most people I've spoken to spend in the range of $24-26k.

BTW a fleet salesperson is a salesperson who sells cars to companies like car rental companies or anything like that that are looking to buy several cars at one time.
