I have actually seen one. Pretty nice, but not my cup of tea.

I saw one of their bikes in front of the sandwich shop around the corner from work the other day. It looked awesome.

The very last real triumph that was made rolled of the production line at Nelson in New Zealand in early 1981, it was a 2500S.
However in the UK many Hondas were rebadged as Triumphs up untill about 1986ish, then the name was droped.
There was talk about BMW bringing the name back, but it never happened.
The bike company actualy split with car side very early on, about 1960 I think (but im not sure) and went very much thier own way, I believe thier still linked with Hondas bike division, certainly bikes made after a 20 odd year break were nothing more than rebadged Hondas, I believe the new range of bikes are still based on Honda designs, but very losely.
Im not sure who now owns the Triumph name, it might have been retained by BMW, or it could have been included in the sale to the new British rover group. Either way the name is very much dead, and the Marque is certianly long dead, another sad victim of Britsh Leyland.
