Can anyone describe to me in words where the oil filter is for my 2004 Camry LE?

Thanks

I haven't seen that engine in that car, but it should be in front to the passenger side of the exhaust manifold.

I have an 03 Camry with the 2.4 litre 4-cylinder engine so I'm going to assume that you have the same motor in your 04 Camry. The filter has been relocated from where they were in all previous generations, to my knowledge. The filter on my 03 is located underneath the engine and is vertically mounted, you know, like normal cars used to do. They are no longer mounted diagonally beside the exhaust manifold so you no longer have to burn the back of your hand. I discovered this when I looked under the hood and saw no oil filter and then when I watched the oil/filter being changed.

Re: 2004 Camry Oil Filter

That was a good idea. Now the filter stays full. Someone is thinking.
