Dsm Idle Problem!!!
Ok here's the problem, i have a 94 eagle talon tsi awd turbo down up to the max!
i recently started having problems with my idle, it was surging and stalling out when i came to a stop. determined that it was my isc motor. had it replaced tested the resistance (1-2, 3-4 etc) perfect 30 ohms. But now intermittley when i start the car it idles reallyy low almost stalling at like 300-400 rpms. As my car warms up and reaches all the way warmed idle is fine at 800 rpms. If i drive around stop, turn it on again and the idle is fine at 800 rpms. Only intermittley does it dip low and sometimes when i come to a stop it wants to stall out. I reset the ECU nothin, tested the isc fine!
What is wrong with it!!!!

Re: Dsm Idle Problem!!!
try putting you bov the right way and recirculate see if that fixes it

Re: Dsm Idle Problem!!!
try reseeting your ecu your fuel trim is probably all messed up from before. just disconnect your battery for a couple minutes. btw your fuel trim is the computers memory of the quality of gas you use it keeps track of how effective the gas is.

its the venting that was causing the problem... all good...
since i fixed th idle problem when i accelerate under heavy boost my car sometimes buckets or laggs...only intermittely though, and a cloud of black smoke comes out of my exhuast its because im running rich but will running rich cause the car to bucket?

Re: Dsm Idle Problem!!!
if its running realy really rich it could. but the much more likely thing is that your spark plugs are fouled up from running rich with the bov vented. since your plugs arent firing right not all the gas will burn and you'll get smoke and gas smell from the exhaust. get a set of plugs buyt make sure to get ngks and not platinums they suck in our cars especially the turbos

What are you talking about Dave? You of all people ought to know better than to bring back 4 year old threads!
