Where are the 318i Dash Bolts?muddymike2003 06-07-2004, 12:28 AM I have a 1985 BMW 318i. I am going to try making a new fiberglass dash for it, but I have no idea where the bolts are :(. I already took off the glove box to try and see where they would be at but theres a few that I un-done and it's still not moving much, does anyone have an idea about where the bolts are? Maybe there similar to other BMW's?? But if you have info for that or about what all I need to do to remove the dash (like disconnect what wires n stuff) then please post here!! Thanks lots. Mike jeffreyb4me 06-07-2004, 09:34 PM ok, once you have the console, glovebox, instr. cluster, radio and heater control panel out, there are only 2 or 3 bolts on each end of the dash holding it to the 'A' pillars. you'll need to unclip the air ducts as ness. and the dash pulls up and out towards the rear from 'clips' below the windscreen. muddymike2003 06-07-2004, 10:09 PM okay thanks!! :)I had the nuts already unscrewed except for one that I didn't see. but now i got it i think..thnks a lot!
