Question Turbo Converion

Hello To All,
Been Seeing The Same Question Quite A Few Times That Is: "can A Turbo Head And Ancillaries Be Fitted On To The Non Turbo 2.2l, What's Involved?". I Am Now In The Same Position Myself.
I Was Hoping To Find Out Is There Any Difference In The Bottom End Of These Two Motors? I Currently Own A 89 626 (manual Conversion Underway) That I Am Doing Up At The Mo And Am At A Stage Where I Am Now Looking At The Power Side Of Things.
I And A Few Others Need Definite Answers To The Difference Between The Two Engines And Any Problems That May Be Encountered......maybe For And Against Discussion?

Anywayz Cheerio.

Re: Turbo Converion

i'm pretty sure theres a few differences in the bottom end. u'd be better off just to get an entire turbo engine instead of just putting the turbo head on the non turbo block.
