It's funny, i live in miami, and well...u find like a 100K civics...everywhere u go, u can't drive without a civic on ur side...


well..i drive a toyota supra....and was thinking about maybe owning a civic, cos it looks nice...i'm talking 96-97-98

i don't know much about hooking up...but i defenitly know when something is just too fucking ugly


driving around i found a civic for sale...i went up to the car and looked at it...of course...there was those fucking ugly clear light on the back...(people those lights only MIGHT look good on a white car...but RED? is just disgusting)
anyways, it had black rims...which i like alot.....the front bumper....and i guess the kid wanted to look cool, so he got a BLACK hood...not carbon fiber...just a plain hood painted black....(does black paint weights less?)

so the kid was askin about 5K for it...everything on the outside looked kinda OK u know..for a 5K car it should be in good condition...

1) no A/C, i mean, i could seee the compressor so i know he didn't take it out for weight reduction purposes....
2) the engine had a tack tack tack comming from the head, which i guess had something to do with lifters....
3) i guess he liked the oil filter color so much, that he never changed it!!
4) i bet his favorite color was BROWN, coz that was the color of his engine oil, which suggests that water is leaking into the engine...
5) plain tap water for the radiator, which tells me that the radiator is full of rust in the inside and lets not get into the engine part.....

of course, he had a CAI and some APC air filter...

anyways, if u want ur car to just look good..get one of those car kits they sell in autozone the battery powered 18:1 scale RC cars.....

please....don't come bragging about engine colors or shit like that when ur engine is burning more oil than Burger King on a busy saturday evening...


hook ur car from the inside out...first engine then body....

because at the end, is the engine who's gonna be pulling all those stupid "HOOK UPS" u put on the poor car

well, that's my advice to people...

i don't own a honda yet, and well..after seeing a couple of thousands mexicans driving civics like if they were F1 cars, it really doesn't encourages me to get one, i think i'll stick with my 88 supra, which at least i know i am one of the few 100K people in whole USA who owns one......

and another thing, before u laugh at my english, well...i am colombian...and no, i do not sell cocain to honda drivers....they are already hooked on crack when they drive theire "pimped out" cars...coz believe me, to drive a car like that, u need to be on crack

buy a stock honda civic.. then you know you have a good base to start with and that no one has been jimmy riggin' anything in the car. i'm sure you would feel the same way if you were shopping for a supra

Alejo even if you have a clean one and pour money into it for performance only, you'll still be looked at as a ricer. Check my car (in my sig). It's not a bad Civic in my opinion, but I still rake in tons of shit simply for owning a Civic. Stick to your Supra if you want a fast car, and only buy a Civic if you want a reliable daily driver.. and keep it stock.

Well, my supra....on the body part, everything is stock, and the inside too....and the engine, no it isn't leakin oil or burning it....it runs pretty good actually....for now is a daily driver...dunno if i'm gonna get into fixing it up either...supra's are expensive to hook up...that's the reason so many mexicans own civics ;)
and well, since i don't have the money to hook up the supra, i'll get a civic ;) lol

anyway, if you don't want to be called a "ricer" by every one, stay outta a civic... i got mine because it was cheap, reliable, got insane gas milage, and will last forever. i try do make it more fun and safe to drive, but i'm VERY careful that anything i do doesn't change the outward appearance or sound of my car.

my town is full... FULL of ricers. i know 2, maybe 3 decent sport compacts. everyone else is a ricer. fart-canning, big-wingin, ghetto-blastin rice. sad, really.

and have fun with that supra... those things are FUN, i've got a friend who (re)builds them, and i've gotten to ride and work on a few... sweetness.

as a matter of fact, there is a nearly-finished freshly-rebuilt supra engine with my name on it, which may end up in a volvo (don't ask), or it MIGHT be for sale. i'll let ya know if it goes up for sale, man.
